About Me

I moved to Yorkshire in 2023 where I now live with my girlfriend and our two cats. I love to coach people and see them grow, achieve their goals and catch the bug for strength and fitness.

I first set foot in a gym at 15 years old during the school summer holidays. I wanted to get bigger and stronger to help improve as a rugby player. I would catch a ride with my mum on her way to work, get dropped at the gym and go through a, very basic by today's standards, exercise program before walking the 6 miles along the canal home. It wasn't long before I started noticing muscle development and the connection I made between what I was doing and seeing the real life results got me hooked instantly. I would nerd out on fitness magazines and videos, self teaching through trial and (a lot of) error. I never looked back and have been strength training in one form or another ever since, even when I spent years working away in The USA and Africa.

I grew up on a working family farm and loved the opportunities that provided me, I set up and ran my own wedding and coffee businesses and most recently have worked converting VW Campervans. Any opportunity to play sport is always welcome, I love competing no matter how good or bad I am at something. Whether it was rugby, golf, triathlon or Jiu Jitsu to name a few, just let me play! 

Being a PT and health coach has become my true love and passion though, it's the best job I've ever had and ever will have. Watching people grow in confidence, learn to love something they thought they would hate, and achieve things they didn't think possible gives me the biggest buzz! Too many personal trainers push short-term weight loss with a restriction based approach and unrealistic plans. It might work for a few weeks, but it’s rarely sustainable — and the weight often comes back.

No restrictive diets. No endless cardio. Just real, lasting results built on good habits, proactive training, and a balanced approach that actually feels good.

Train with me as your coach and I'll get you the weight loss, added strength and muscle, bigger bum/arms, less body fat, a smaller waistline, reduced pain etc. And I'll do it in a way that will last a lifetime.
